DrinkPAK Continues Impressive Growth with New Facility Lease in Santa Clarita Valley

The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC) is excited to announce that DrinkPAK, one of the fastest-growing beverage manufacturing companies in the region, recently leased a new 172,843-square-foot facility at 26313 Golden Valley Road. This latest acquisition, facilitated by the commercial real estate firm Newmark, demonstrates DrinkPAK's ongoing commitment to the Santa Clarita Valley (SCV). The lease marks DrinkPAK’s fifteenth transaction with the Newmark team.

“DrinkPAK’s business has grown tremendously in just a few years,” commented Patrick DuRoss, SIOR, Executive Managing Director at Newmark, who, along with John DeGrinis, SIOR, Jeff Abraham, SIOR, and Javier Galvan, have represented DrinkPAK since 2019, "and from day one, we strategized to ensure their real estate could scale with their needs. Santa Clarita has proven ideal for that growth, with its modern industrial parks and supportive climate for business. We are proud to have supported DrinkPAK from its initial establishment to its current expansion.

Developed by Pacific Industrial, this new facility features 36-foot clear-height ceilings, 6,852 SF of high-image 2-story office space, 25 dock-high doors, two ground-level loading doors, a robust 2,000 Amps power supply, and a paved, fenced yard area ideal for managing large-scale logistics and operations.

These features make the Golden Valley Road site a state-of-the-art addition to DrinkPAK’s footprint, well-suited for high-speed beverage production and logistics. With Class A industrial specifications similar to DrinkPAK’s existing facilities at Needham Ranch, the new building will enable the company to continue meeting unprecedented demand from its clients, which include prominent energy drink, hard seltzer, canned cocktail, and soda brands.

SCVEDC’s President & CEO, Ondre Seltzer, emphasized the positive impact on the regional economy: “DrinkPAK’s continued growth is a huge win for the Santa Clarita Valley. When a company continues to make commitments like this in our community, it means new local jobs for our families and greater opportunities close to home. DrinkPAK is investing in the SCV, and that investment helps make our local economy stronger and more resilient. We couldn’t be more thrilled to see a homegrown success story like DrinkPAK continue contributing to our community’s prosperity.”

DrinkPAK first made headlines in Santa Clarita when it opened its initial operations at The Center at Needham Ranch in 2020.  By the end of 2021, it expanded to occupy 572,419 SF across three buildings at the industrial park. Their growth continued through 2022 and 2023, with their number of local employees skyrocketing from 228 to 443, respectively, according to the SCVEDC's annual Largest Employer survey, far exceeding the initial employment and economic impact projections outlined in SCVEDC’s 2021 DrinkPAK Case Study. In the 2021 study, the company anticipated creating approximately 425 local jobs within five years and generating substantial economic activity in the region through capital investment and local procurement.

DrinkPAK’s CEO, Nate Patena, also expressed enthusiasm about this latest milestone: "Santa Clarita has truly become our home. We’ve received exceptional support from SCVEDC, the City of Santa Clarita, and the local community every step of the way, from expediting permits to turning out talent. That kind of business-friendly environment is a big reason why companies like us can thrive here.

What started as a single-building lease quickly grew into a multi-building campus, with DrinkPAK taking over the final three buildings at Needham Ranch in 2024. As demand for its services surged, the company even announced plans to expand nationally (with new facilities in Texas and on the East Coast), all while maintaining Santa Clarita as its corporate headquarters.

Holly Schroeder, Vice President of External Affairs for DrinkPAK and former President & CEO of SCVEDC, reflected on the company’s journey:

"I’ve had the privilege of supporting DrinkPAK from its inception and watching it flourish in our valley,” said Schroeder. “Their commitment to innovation, quality, and community has been unwavering. This new facility provides vital support to our production facilities, and we’re excited to continue investing here, bringing additional employment opportunities and economic growth to the region."

Today, DrinkPAK employs hundreds of local workers and has grown its footprint to over 1.1 million square feet across seven facilities in Santa ClaritaBeyond direct employment, DrinkPAK has also become actively involved in the local community. The company frequently hosts tours for students and educators, showcasing cutting-edge robotics and automation on its production lines. By engaging with schools and workforce development programs, DrinkPAK is helping inspire the next generation of talent in science, technology, engineering, and manufacturing. This community-minded approach means DrinkPAK’s impact isn’t just economic, it’s also about knowledge-sharing and inspiration, reinforcing Santa Clarita’s image as a center of innovation.

The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation proudly welcomes this new expansion and what it represents: confidence in our community. DrinkPAK’s ongoing success story sends a strong message that the Santa Clarita Valley is open for business and thriving – a place where companies can grow, innovate, and make a lasting impact.
