New 2019 Law (SB 1343) requires California employers with 5 or more employees to provide two hours of sexual harassment and abusive conduct prevention training to all supervisors and one hour of such training to all non-supervisory employees before January 1, 2020. A Three Class Series

 

This class offers participants the opportunity to earn a certificate in Customer Relations when all three courses are completed. Participants must register for each class separately. Classes may also be taken individually, without earning a certificate.

Customer Service

Class one of the Customer Relations Certificate. Each class may be taken individually or as part of a series to earn a certificate.

 

Applies practical strategies to retain a valuable customer base, diffuse difficult situations and earn repeat business. Topics include the anatomy of a complaint, regulating verbal and nonverbal responses, creative problem solving, steps to defuse angry customers and more.

Negotiation

Applies collaboration tools for building high-trust relationships. Help analyzing the conflict cycle and practice skills to diffuse conflict at each stage. Assess one’s strengths and utilize tools to facilitate and adapt to others styles.

Personality Styles

Class three of the Customer Relations Certificate. Each class may be taken individually or as part of a series to earn a certificate.

 

Exploration of participants’ own behaviors and personality styles, while learning to adapt one’s behavior to be effective with other personality styles in a variety of work situations. Emphasis is placed on dealing with difficult relationships.
