SANTA CLARITA VALLEY, CA – The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC) is pleased to announce that Christopher Page has been appointed as its Director of Business Development.
In this role, Page will serve as a key point of connection between SCVEDC and the business community, helping companies access the information, resources, and partnerships needed to make informed decisions about growth in the Santa Clarita Valley. He will support business attraction, retention, and expansion efforts while working with local employers, brokers, developers, and regional partners to help move projects forward.
Page brings experience in economic development, business attraction and retention, and public-sector partnership building, along with strong regional insight as a Santa Clarita native. Prior to joining SCVEDC, Page served as Project Manager for the Economic Development Division with the City of Pasadena, where he led business engagement strategies supporting expansion, relocation, and investment. He also served as a primary liaison guiding businesses through complex entitlement and permitting processes.
Previously, Page held multiple roles with the City of Santa Clarita, including within the Economic Development Division and the City Manager’s Office, where he supported key economic development initiatives and worked closely with employers and community partners. His appointment supports SCVEDC’s continued focus on responsive, business-driven economic development and strengthening relationships with the local business community.
“Christopher’s combination of local knowledge, analytical expertise, and relationship-driven leadership will be a great asset to SCVEDC and the business community,” said Ondré Seltzer, President and CEO of SCVEDC. “He understands the Valley’s strengths and will play an important role in supporting our ongoing economic development priorities.”
Page holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of La Verne and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at California State University, Northridge.
