Eric Jensen, Director of Manufacturing Ramp and Transition at Fralock Inc., steps in as Chair of the Steering Committee of the Santa Clarita Valley Chapter of the Aerospace & Defense Forum as of January 2021. The SCV Chapter was launched in October of 2019 to expand local business collaboration, networking, and information sharing by A&D executives relevant to the business of aerospace, commercial space and defense industries. This eighth chapter of the A&D Forum, sponsored by the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC), has been well received by the SCV aerospace community with strong engagement and event attendance, even through transition to virtual meetings in 2020 due to COVID.
“The A&D Forum fulfills an important need in the Santa Clarita Valley by providing excellent opportunities for high level knowledge sharing and networking. I am excited about the opportunity to lead the Forum in 2021 and build on the successful foundation we have created,” said Eric Jensen.
Robert Gleason, formerly Executive Director at ITT Aerospace Controls and now Sector Deputy Director, Engineering, Aircraft Group at Moog Inc. led the very successful SCV Chapter launch as its first Steering Committee Chair, supported by Ivan Rosenburg, Executive Director of the A&D Forum, and executives from several organizations in the Santa Clarita Valley.
“Thank you to our committee and chapter members for a successful 2020 under historic circumstances. We have a strong team anchored by SCVEDC and look forward to Eric’s leadership in 2021.” said Rob Gleason.
“SCVEDC is proud of the success of this chapter and supporting deeper interactions between our A&D industry executives. We are delighted to continue this commitment under Eric Jenson’s direction,” added Holly Schroeder, President & CEO of the SCVEDC and SCV Chapter A&D Forum Steering Committee member.
