Individual site visits with another 25 companies introduced those companies to tax, workforce, and operational incentives.

Community Marketing

SCVEDC revamped its website in 2014 and made the website, and this blog, a central element in its digital media campaign. A new brochure based on the trademarked message that the Santa Clarita Valley is "Still Golden" was complete, To keep the importance of economic development front and center, SCVEDC hosted a new event honoring Public Officials in partnership with CalArts.

Information & Research

SCVEDC continues to be the go-to source for economic data about the Santa Clarita Valley. In addition to the monthly economic Snapshot, SCVEDC hosts the annual Economic Outlook in partnership with the College of the Canyons. The 2014 event was the most successful yet. The website update also enabled SCVEDC to offer data-on-demand to local real estate brokers.

Overall, 2014 was a very successful year, and SCVEDC looks forward to continued success in 2015.
