New Brain Stimulation Center to Open in SCV

Santa Clarita, CA -- The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation (SCVEDC) has announced the opening of BrainStim Centers, Inc., in the Santa Clarita Valley. Brainstim Centers, Inc., focuses on supporting brain health through the process of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Local and innovative neurosurgeon Dr. Mark Liker, who initiated and leads the center, anticipates that it will be the first of several such state-of-the-art therapeutic centers in California.

Holly Schroeder, President & CEO of SCVEDC has also been recognized as a Valley 200 Icon of Influence, along with SCV business owner Cheri Fleming, CEO of Acura of Valencia and SCVEDC Board Member Tamara Gurney, President of Mission Valley Bank.

The Task Force met for the first time on Friday, May 8, 2020.

Throughout seven stages over seven days, the world’s elite cyclists will contest more than 750 miles of roadways, highways and coastlines from Sacramento to Pasadena. The Amgen Tour of California (ATOC) brings the drama and excitement of professional cycling to California for the 14th consecutive year in 2019 from May 12-18. In 2019, Santa Clarita will return as a host city, bringing the total of stages hosted in Santa Clarita to 14 – the most stages in race history!
